Recon Airacobra 1/48 - Preorders Started!

Arma Hobby's latest model in 1/48 scale is the reconnaissance Airacobra P-39 Recon. Today we are launching a promotional pre-order, details of which will be discussed below. And for now, let's focus on what's in the kit box!

Reconnaissance Airacobras from America and two Oceans

Colourful decals and a resin 3D print - a camera lens - will allow you to build one of three unique and very interesting US Aviation Reconnaissance Airacobras.

Markings of choice:

• Olive Drab P-39Q-6 ‘Reba - Brown Eyes’ from 82nd TRS with white tail operating over New Guinea in the Pacific
• Silver P-39Q-6 of the 4th TRS with pin-up girl, searching for German U-Boats over the Caribbean Sea and Atlantic
• Olive Drab P-39N-2 ‘Alan S’ with a broad white band on the tail, a training machine (US East Coast) of the legendary 118th TRS, later famous for fighting over China on Mustangs decorated with black and yellow lightnings

The 1/48 scale Recon Airacobra model kit (40013) is being sold in a promotional pre-order during which we offer a lot of interesting options and good discounts! Do not wait with ordering, promotions are valid only during pre-order!

Kits with extras

The possibility of ordering kits in a promotion with additions of your choice has become very popular with modellers, as we have already tested with the Yak promotion in September and the 1/72 Ki-43 Hayabusa pre-order. With this promotion, you can order the Airacobra kits both in the basic version (normal box contents) and with additional parts. We offer the following options:

• set of extra sprues (so-called overtrees)
• a set of high-quality 3D-printed resin details
• set of extra sprues and 2 sets of 3D-printed resin details

You can easily select these additions on the product page in the shop, before adding the model kit to your shopping cart, using the ‘Additions’ option.

Big discounts on additional 1/48 models

You can add any Arma Hobby 1/48 kit to each pre-ordered Recon Airacobra (kit 40013) at a good discount. Adding another kit increases its discount in the cart (the last kit gets cheaper and cheaper, depending on the number of kits you put in the cart). You can see the final discounts in detail in the shopping cart. Be sure to check out what happens when you have 4 kits in your cart! If you don't need that many, you can place an order together with a friend.

• Both pre-order promotions can be combined!

We have already seen that this promotional system has been very popular with modellers pre-ordering the 1/72 Ki-43 Hayabusa, and with the Airacobra 1/48 it will also allow you to choose exactly the options and quantities that suit you.
