August Pre-orders Are Now Open!

Pre-orders have now opened for two exciting new 1/72 scale Arma Hobby releases: the Curtiss Hawk 81-A2 "Flying Tigers" (70094) and the Nakajima Ki-84 Hayate "Aces" (70066). Both kits are scheduled to ship in the first half of August 2026.

Both kits are available in several configurations. The Curtiss Hawk 81-A2 can be ordered as the standard kit, with professionally 3D-printed detail parts, with the brand-new White Stork Miniatures Flying Tigers pilot figures, or as a premium bundle including both accessories. The Ki-84 Hayate is available as the standard kit, with 3D-printed detail parts, or with White Stork Miniatures pilot figures.

Curtiss Hawk 81-A2 – The First Release in a New Family

The Curtiss Hawk 81-A2 is the first kit in Arma Hobby's all-new family covering the Curtiss Hawk 81, Tomahawk II and P-40B/C. Made famous by the pilots of the American Volunteer Group—the legendary Flying Tigers—the Hawk 81-A2 became one of the iconic fighters of the early Pacific War. Its famous shark-mouth nose art, distinctive DuPont camouflage and outstanding combat record over China have made it a favourite among aviation enthusiasts and scale modellers for decades.

The kit features highly detailed plastic parts, a 3D-printed pilot's seat with moulded harnesses, pre-cut painting masks, and Cartograf decals with three attractive Flying Tigers marking options. Every kit also includes a download code for 3D-printable exhaust stacks, machine gun barrels and gunsights.
