The decal set "Yak Attack" contains markings for three unique examples of Yak-1b fighters:
- Yakovlev Yak-1b, pilot: Capt. Władymir P. Pokrowskij from 2. GIAP / 6. IAD, Northern Fleet Aviation, probably the end of 1943.
- Yakovlev Yak-1b, 'White 42', pilot: Lieutenant Garri A. Merkwiładze from 152. GIAP / 12. GIAD, 1. Ukrainian Front, Germany, spring 1945.
- Yakovlev Yak-1b, 'White 20', pilot: Lieutenant Fotij J. Morozow from 31st GIAP / 6. GIAD, 4th Ukrainian Front, the first half of 1944.
So accurate markings for each of these machines have not yet been available in decals in 1/72 scale. In the instructions you will find, among others archive photos for each of the aircraft presented - some of them have not yet been published.
The quality of the decals is confirmed by the use of the best available printing technology. The Italian Cartograf printed the decal sheet. The instructions are three A4 cards printed on 250g gloss paper. On one side of the card, there are large side profiles of the aircraft. At the same time, on the other side, there are additional illustrations, instructions for applying the decal along with relevant information and archive photos of the presented machine. You may use the card easily as a high-quality wall picture.
