1 Man Army Masks – What They Are and How to Use Them

1 Man Army masks are precisely laser-cut adhesive stencils designed for painting markings, tactical numbers, and technical stencils directly onto the model – without the use of decals. This method produces a more realistic and durable finish, free from the visible edges that can occur with traditional decals.


How to use 1 Man Army masks:

  1. Detach the selected element from the sheet (e.g., a number or label). Apply a piece of masking tape or clear transfer tape over the entire marking.
  2. Use the tape to transfer the mask to the model without distorting its shape or alignment.
  3. Press the mask firmly onto the model's surface, especially around the edges.
  4. Carefully remove the transfer tape, leaving the mask in place.
  5. Apply a thin layer of paint – ideally with an airbrush.​
  6.  Once the paint is dry, remove the mask to reveal a clean, sharp marking.

Masks are intended for single use and should be applied only to clean, dry, and degreased surfaces.
